ReportIT Desktop is a flexible tool designed for desktop reporting. It assists in making informed decisions about Discovery and Office migration. Using ReportIT Desktop provides a window into the number, types, and condition of files previously gathered through a Scan File, Find Files, or DiscoverIT process.
ReportIT Desktop uses output XML files from those processes to generate the reports. The first process in using ReportIT Desktop is to import XML files. The import of the XML file is the data required by ReportIT Desktop to create the numerous reports.
This user guide instructs the user through the processes of properly storing the XML data for access by ReportIT Desktop through viewing the reports.
