Jon Newbery

Jon Newbery has 22 years of management, finance, operational, and turnaround experience. He qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, before moving to Warsaw, Poland in 1991 to assist in establishing the consultancy’s presence there. Jon moved to Australia in June 2000, where he joined Newport Capital Group as an investment director. While at Newport, he worked with young Australian companies advising on fund raising, restructuring and exit opportunities. In 2002, Jon established his own operational consulting business, where he successfully ran a number of early stage technology businesses, including a telco billing software vendor. Jon joined Powerlan in May 2006 and was appointed the Chief Executive Officer in February 2007. Jon is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jon holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Nottingham (England) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Larry Nuttall

Larry Nuttall is a co-founder of the technology software venture, Newforma, Inc. He served on the executive management team as a vice president, from its original founding and early stage growth through two rounds of venture capital investment. Previously, he served as vice president, U.S. Sales, for Microsoft Business Solutions and in the roles of general manager and vice president U.S. Sales for Great Plains Software Inc. At the latter, he led the Great Plains sales team through acquisition by Microsoft in 2001. His experience also includes serving as vice president of Sales, Service and Support for RealWorld Corporation, a privately held accounting software company acquired by Great Plains Software in 2000. He also managed and grew regional direct and channel sales at mapping software developer Environmental Research Systems Institute. Prior to that, he held a national channel sales and marketing management role for computer-aided design software leader, Autodesk, Inc.

Larry has been an Advisor to the company since 2007 and was appointed to Chairman of the ConverterTechnology Board in 2009.

Larry received his Bachelor of Science in business management from Franklin Pierce College, graduating magna cum laude, with departmental honors in business administration.

William J. Tickner

William J. Tickner has 20 years experience in senior technology sales & marketing roles including periods as Vice President of Convergys Corporation in Europe where he ran international partner sales operations with leading systems integrators, and as General Manager of Geneva Technology in Asia where he planned and led its successful regional market entry programme.

William has also held senior technology and software sales and marketing roles at IBM, CableData, Cognima and Datanomic. He was most recently Vice President, Europe at Clarity, a vendor of operational management software for telecoms service providers.

William joined IMX in 2007 to lead and expand its global commercial team and in this role he is responsible for new business development, strategic account management, marketing, business partnerships and product management.

William holds an Executive MBA from Henley Management School, UK.
